TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellations and Insurance
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 7 days before your arrival date you will not be liable for the total balance. Group bookings of 2 rooms or more require 14 days notice. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount of your booking. A cancellation fee may be made in addition for administration of £10. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker. Alterations to shorten a stay require a minimum of 7 days notice and can only be made once.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care with our accommodation. The person who makes the booking/card holder is responsible for the actions of others in their party/group. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents including items missing. Please report these as soon as they occur or you find them. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £20 if you did not report this.
Food and Drink
We request that guests do not bring their own food or drink in to Beech House including Takeaways.
Smoking Policy
Beech House is 100% non smoking. If we believe you or any member of your group has smoked in the room during your stay you will be liable for £100 to cover the cost of cleaning the room. This will be deducted from the card used at the time of booking or an invoice will be sent out. Where a room is turned down by the next guest due to smoking by you or any member of your group additional costs may include loss of earnings.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.
Departure
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure (Mon-Fri), or 10.30am (Sat – Sun) unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Prices
Payment of outstanding balance is due on ARRIVAL.
PLEASE NOTE: A 3% processing fee is added to outstanding balances when payment is made by card.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by booking accommodation at Beech House.
